I’ve tried all these links and they work but should they stop working in the future, since they’re just found over the web and not my uploads, there’s absolutely nothing I can do about it.

Decline & Evolve: A Harry, Ron & Hermione Fanmix
I really want to explain this, because the more I thought about making a fanmix the more idea’s starting forming in my head. I just want to let you know, this isn’t a ‘yay we’re friends, friendship songs everywhere we are so happy’ fanmix. I wanted to be original, so this is actually a fanmix to represent the hardships of the three of them trying to survive the war, together. It’s basically songs I picked out and placed in a precise order to tell a story of the three of them, together and separate, their feelings of loneliness, fear, hope, self-doubt, courage and eventually success. The first song starts from them leaving everything they know and hold dear to find a way to save the world together. It then goes from nostalgia and mourning of their childhood (and in a way, for Harry and Hermione, their parents) to self-doubt and a yearning for faith in themselves and, most importantly, in each other. Then it dabbles a bit in nostalgia again (more like remembering what you’ve lost but being proud of the knowledge you’ve gained) before a sort of ‘calm before the storm’ part, into rebuilding themselves and their world after a hard war. The last track is basically a quiet woo-hoo for their victory. This is long, I know, and I’m sorry but I kind of just felt like I had to explain it before someone says ‘this has nothing to do with the trio’ or ‘where’s O Children and Marching On?’ because when I make fanmixes I just tend to put alot of thought into them. Too much, actually.

No more gasping for a breath
